Thank you! I actually did a poll way back when I was starting out the blog for people to pick either single or multiple columns and the response was in favor of single columns. And to be honest, I wouldn’t want to change this theme, I kinda like it a lot and I’m not savvy enough to make it work for multiple columns

As the son of a Lieutenant Colonel and a retired professional ballerina, with an almost 15 year age gap, Jae’s childhood was an interesting one. He was constantly moving from one place to another which made it hard to make friends and setting down roots. Added with his natural restlessness, Jae would act out and became a disruptive class clown type; to gained positive rapport with his classmates and the kids around the bases. His mother was over how much trouble and embarrassment her son caused that she came up with an idea. With some coaxing and promises of extra dessert, she convinced Jae to participate in her dance classes that she held at clients home. Immediately, the troublesome young boy got hooked. With help from his mother’s strict instruction, young Jae became devoted to learning classical ballet and tap dancing. His father ,at first, was reluctant by this new development but warmed up to the idea as he saw improvement of Jae’s behavior.

Dancing was the perfect outlet for Jae to express himself while using to burn up his energy. Over time he reach out to learn other types of dancing on his own, loving how each one have its own personality and history. He toned down his past mischievous ways for a more goofy sense of humor but the urge for a good prank still comes up deep inside of him.

Despite beginning reservations, Jae’s father was one of his biggest fans. Even going out of his way to see rehearsals if he knew he would miss a showcase. Unfortunately due to his old age, he died from cardiac arrest little over a year ago. In honor of him, Jae would wear his father’s dog tags, so he can all be with him, especially during performances (Either tucked under his shirt or in his pocket).

Jae is studying at San Myshuno University of Arts for a Choreography degree. After learning so many dances, Jae has already start choreographing his own sets but wanting to learn more to raise them to an unimaginable level. While at Uni, his roommates have gotten him into adding a vocal element to his dance sets: Rapping. His rhythms are still on the raw side but still delivers them with a level of wit and confidence that fits him.

Nolan Elliott, or “Noel” as he is known to his 541 Simstagram followers, is a multi-instrumentalist, proficient in guitar, bass guitar, piano, and drums. He has started to widen his skill set, and recently tried DJ-ing for the first time, with remarkable success. Despite his many talents, he is rather reclusive and prefers not to be around other people, unless they further his goal of becoming a renowned musician. When interacting with other people, he’s very awkward and cold; he doesn’t really know how to behave. The few friends he does have, he holds onto very closely. He likes to talk about philosophy and sushi, and he’ll always be down to discuss music theory with someone. Once he finds a person he likes a lot, he becomes very possessive over them.
He’s a little eccentric, preferring to stay in his study for hours at a time and coming out bursting with new material that he will likely never release to the public. When he’s concentrating on something, he’ll get up and pace around his apartment–the harder he’s thinking, the faster he walks. Occasionally he runs into walls and furniture because he’s poring over an idea so intensely he forgets to watch where he’s going.
