Running under rain is awesome. The problem is...

I’m feeling a little better this morning.  I’m supposed to run 12 today but I’m not sure how well that is going to go!  At least it isn’t supposed to rain for that :)

Chekov: If you could visit any place in the world, where would you go? Oh my goodness, the list in endless. Money is no object, and I either don’t need to work or my job will be waiting when I get home? I’d like to spend as long as it takes in the UK to figure out my family history. But I’d also like to check out Russia. And go to Germany again (last time I was there, it was just West Germany, so it’s been a LONG time). I’d like to spend some time in New England and Quebec (again, family history). 

Sato: What foreign language would you want to learn? The cop out answer is French because I was pretty close to bilingual by the end of high school, and even used it a little in my 20s, so I would hope it would be easy to pick up again. But German is handy. Russian goes hand in hand with my medieval geekery because a lot of the research is in Russian (funny... early literacy in Russia research being in Russian. Who knew?)

Wow, sorry to hear about what happened to you. I mostly follow you quietly but man, I hope you're not feeling to sore tomorrow. Hope you get better soon!

Thank you so much! I’m relieved to say that it doesn’t feel any worse this morning. It actually hurts more on the back side of my knee than the front, and swelling is minimal, which I would think is a good indication that nothing is torn, but only sprained/strained. Still gonna get the MRI just because I don’t want to take any chances with my knees.

I had wls on 12/02/14 and I started walking a lot with my dogs and doing outdoor stuff. A friend convinced me to do a color run the 9th of october and I started walking/running did couch to 5k and then I realized that I really liked running. I've been steadily increasing the distance and I'm hoping to complete my first half marathon on december and maybe a marathon next year. (Currently at 16/17 km) I love how everything has changed, how my feet can take me anywhere and my health has improved!

That’s so awesome! I know that you’ll achieve those goals, and love every minute of it!  Be proud of yourself for your hard work and dedication! Great job!

Honestly, if you like cats that's alright if you dont that's alright, if you hate them thats alright. I once came upon someone with Ailurophobia and she couldnt explain it or justify it, it just was who she was. She knew it wasnt logical but she feared them. I never understood the true concept of phobia until I met her... sorry I digress. Everyone has tastes, the important thing is to respect them.
