8. Family Headcanon

So to start, we know that it's canon that Erwin was an only child, but man if I wish that man wasn't an older brother. Whether it was to a younger sister or a younger brother, I really feel like he would have been an amazing older brother to them. He just has that personality that is just like very older sibling. Can you imagine him like teaching his younger siblings things the way their dad taught him? It also makes me think about the way he met Levi and how that whole story went.

If you watch/read it, first working together, he really didn't even treat Levi like a criminal or an enemy or even a friend. He taught him like a child. Like Levi was a student and Erwin was the teacher. Dang it, am I the only one that wonders if Erwin would have become a teacher if titans weren't a thing?? He would have been an awesome teacher.

As far as actual children, I think Erwin would have liked having kids. Like, there was a moment in his life that forced him to choose a path and once he made that choice, his life would never be like it was and would never cross with the other path at any point. I think if he didn't choose the scouts, he would have probably had like two kids. He seems like someone that loves kids, but wants to like make sure to take time and teach each child to be a good person so more than two would have made it difficult for him.

BUT! I am going to go against what I just said haha if he had a son, then he would stop at two kids, but I think if he had two daughters, he would have another one after that haha I don't even know why. Dude, Erwin with three daughters 😩😩😩

Even though he chose the path of the scouts, I don't think he ever felt like he was lacking though? Like having Miche, Hange, and Levi, I really feel like that was his family.

Erwin or Miche?

Erwin. Hands down Erwin. Those steely blue intellectual eyes would murder me irl so yeah. :) And yeah.... I honestly think that Erwin would be a great counter to me. Miche would not say no or yes to me I think he'd let me go nuts and that might prove to be a very bad idea as I'd dress him up in bows......and nothing else. To his credit he'd wear it without too much fuss though. lol

I'd choose Erwin and we can both simp over Levi together.

Jean or Eren?

:-/ Why you do this to me? Lol Eren reminds me of the boys I dated in high school and regretted....and Jean honestly makes me think of a guy I'd date in college and dump for reasons I won't go into. Lol

I'll go with Jean because I think we'd get along better than Eren and I, which would be a train wreck and a half.

Sasha or Pieck?

Sasha. I'll go with Sasha. We're both foodies and I don't think she'd be afraid of accompanying me on my silly little adventures....as long as food is involved.

33. Favorite fast food place?

Hmmm.... That's a difficult one. I don't really eat out that much. But I'd say probably Potbellys at the moment since they have hot peppers and mushrooms. (which I will add to any sandwich I get)

34. What was your most scatterbrained moment?

I feel a little called out on this. XD I'm typically a scatterbrained loony. HOWEVER, I think my most scatterbrained moment was when I worked for a mall clothing store (and I had a bookstore job at the same time..). They had me doing callbacks for a promotion that was going on and when a certain customer answered the phone I completely lost what I was saying. I wound up apologizing because I answered their greeting with the completely wrong store (not even the other store I was working for at the time....^^; ). I felt BRILLIANT after that.

59. Ever had a secret admirer?

Lol! Not that I'm aware of. If there is/was a secret admirer out there they're keeping it very secret.

1. What inspired you to write the fic this way?

This was my first ever writing haha so it's hard to say "this way" because I didn't know any other way XD I'm guessing you're asking this because of the point of view I chose. I'm most comfortable with third person omniscient which is why I chose that. It just comes naturally to me more than second person which is what most fan fiction is written in. This is why most of my longer fics are written in this POV. My first long fic in second person was Armin's Promise Me and I struggled so much with it! Haha if this isn't what you meant, please let me know haha I'm dumb sometimes

2. What scene did you first put down?

I don't actually think I wrote it first, but the first scene that came in my head which is what started the story was Levi's internal struggle with saving Reiner and Reiner trying to be comfortable with knowing he may not live to see Reader again. I was listening to The Weeknd After Hours and feeling emo haha that song is a big part of where the entire story came from. I still get chills listening to it. So if you want to know the feeling I was going for (because I'm SURE my writing didn't give it) listen to that song while reading haha

11. What do you like best about this fic?

I think my favorite thing is that it was what started my obsession with writing. I always had ideas and stuff, but never thought I could write something so long or that anyone would want to read. Even though I cringe at this whole story, it got me here :)
