I can’t remember my list of good smelling characters, but I just feel like Erwin is on it. Like, There’s the just naturally good smell, but then there’s the one that has the perfect cologne and uses the perfect amount and that’s Erwin. I would say the scent is heavenly, but probably a little old? Like, it’s not a young smell (which makes sense, the dudes in his late 30s). I can’t decide if I see Erwin as a minimalist or not. I think he wouldn’t have a ton of clothes, but like I imagine they are all similar so it seems like he only owns like 4 shirts and 2 pants. Also, I hate him because I bet he is one of those people that does like ONE pushup each month and somehow has a great body. I’ve talked about this one before I think, Erwin definitely always leaves the toilet seat up.
I have already written a longer sleep headcanon for Erwin and Miche. I will link it here, but add a little more. I don’t know if this is weird, but like I can imagine Erwin having his own full size bed, but he still sleeps on his side. Like even though the whole bed is technically his side, he still still only takes up the spot of like one person. He only sets one alarm, but always wakes up before it and turns it off. I don’t mean this in a negative or positive way, it’s just a thought. I feel like maybe Erwin was a bed-wetter when he was a kid. I don’t know why, I just get that feeling. I also think he falls asleep quickly once he lays down.
Modern au Erwin does something with finance. I just see it. I mean, I have a lot of thoughts on Modern au Erwin haha but I just know he’s good with finances. Like, he does spend money, he’s a libra and loves nice things, but I think he is really good at saving and getting his money’s worth. He always prefers quality over everything so he will pay more for something that’s going to last him a while and he does his research. He doesn’t equate higher cost with better quality. Honestly, he probably spends the most on insurance or investments. Like, out of all the vets, I think Erwin would be the first to own a house because he knew the investment value of it.
As much as we joke that Erwin is like a super boomer and like, well, white. I think he loves spice. I’d bet his favorite food is anything latin with lots of seasonings and spice and literally spicy food is his favorite. He’s not much for sweets, but loves fruit tarts. He dislikes wearing shorts. I don’t know haha maybe he was made fun of for having pasty white legs as a kid, but I just see him hating them. Which is unfortunate because we all know he has great legs.
I really don’t think Erwin likes nicknames for himself. I think he would tolerate it from those he cared about, but I think he likes his name and likes being called by his name. IF he had a little thing for someone and they gave him a nickname, I’d bet he would go a little weak for it, but that’s about it. As far as terms of endearment, I think he goes for like “sweetheart” or “dear”
