i’ve been listening to a fuck tonne of dj mixes on youtube the last few months, especially whilst studying or doing long tasks / hobbies, so i just wanted to shout out my favourite couple of djs

Denz1000 does great house mixes that are bursting with energy. and his videos are pretty cool too, displaying ps1/ps2 era gameplay in the background with a CRT filter overlayed. everything just flows so nicely in every mix, it’s perfect for staying motivated. loving it.

ackerlady is superb at what she does. her mixes often sound quite ethereal and she does an amazing job at mixing well known alt rock songs with other vibey tunes without it sounding cheap. i can really relax to her videos and they’re perfect for drawing or gaming to.

both of them have opened up a number of new genres to me too, so it’s been great for expanding my music taste! if you’re interested i highly recommend checking them out, they’re only a youtube search away!!
