Life happens. It’s during the times of struggle and unknown that character displays itself. It’s times like this, which to be honest isn’t all that bad…I hit a raccoon and am frustrated at the damage my car took, and at the changes I’ll have to make to the upcoming week’s work schedule because of the repairs, not to mention the expense…. Anyway, the point I’m trying to make, using this post to remind myself, is that sometimes life throws a curveball. The best thing I can do now is roll with the punches, and perhaps get a few jabs and uppercuts of my own to connect. For instance my new phone’s camera takes some incredible pictures. I’ve also got a job, which allowed me to have money saved up for repairs. I’m healthy, that’s a big one these days. Sometimes it’s hard to see beyond one’s own misfortune, but as I grow older I learn that there’s usually an equal or greater amount of positive to any situation. Attitude and perspective are two big things I have control over and I will not let me bring me down.
