Bike Shelf - Round Two
So after asking Acksel nicely by email on the 8 July to replace my damaged Bike Shelf - I received an answer today. The letter was sent to the replacement apartment, which meant that it was sent back to the post office, they had to find out where I really live... His answer was dated 15.08. It arrived today. In a nutshell: Of course, my Bike Shelf still works, and there was no agreement about replacing it between us. I should please carry on to pick it up from the Handyman. I wrote back, that he should please use my real address PA24, and that there was an agreement that both me and he respect each other's property. This he has very clearly breached. I added the photos, proving that the bike shelf has mold, and that the water had damaged it considerably. Seriously, it's a more than a million dollar project - and they refuse to replace € 340,- damage which has obviously created by them. Just silly, stupid games. Let's see what happens now. Oh, did I mention that there was no apology.
Seriously
Today, after returning home, I wanted to take the rubbish down to the courtyard - and suddenly, the locks that lead to the bins have been changed, it is impossible to get into the courtyard...
No warning, no explanation - simply not possible. Seriously, but what is he expecting of us?
Mid-July
Still have npt heard from Acksel. My rent has been payed double by my bank (for the second month running) and I asked them if they could please transfer the money back. They did not do it.
Then, my bike rack which I bought from Knife&Saw - which was fucked up by the hanymen when they tore my old apartment apart: I asked for it to be replaced, and Acksel simply doesn't reply. What's the deal?
Lefteris has moved out. Enrico has moved in. We managed to get Enrico at the Foreigners office, the finance offices, the bank, the Bürgeramt - all on one morning! I was so mightly impressed by Germans - I mean it was super efficient - but the only friendly person we met on the whole escapade was the dude at the bank - that tried to sell us insurance. Everyone else gave us the distinct feeling that they were simply doing their jobs, and not really interested in being part of this life changing experience of Enrico. Which they could have been. We were super friendly.
