Something about how VILE does it by force because all their operatives are criminals- of course they're going to gossip and tell everyone- and ACME does it by appealing to their agents sense of justice. "No you can't stay in contact because you could put them/us/our mission in danger", immediately makes the ex-agent the bad guy if they tell anyone, and you don't wanna be a bad guy do you?
I love when VILE and ACME are reflections of each other. Opposing goals and philosophies, but at the end of the day both shadow organisations trying to control the world. They're so neat...
