Katt likes to think of herself as the kind of evil boss lady who keeps a pet frog, but finds it difficult to feed and care for it.

I remember having a similar thought to this years ago, when I saw old movie villains menacingly petting their cat. TV Tropes has a dumb name for it, but it’s listed there, if you want to read it. I just imagined some poor henchman having to feed and clean up after the cat, and it struck me as pretty absurd.

But that’s pet ownership, y’all! If you’re a bad guy, you just force a hired thug to take care of it!

It’s frog season again! I enjoy catching frogs, but mostly I guess I just enjoy hearing the frogs ribbiting in the ponds as I walk past them.

I don’t think 5.85 inches is particularly big for a frog, but I don’t remember what my record is! How big can they get, do you think? Has anybody caught a frog that broke 100 inches? Just, like, an eight-foot-plus frog? I’d like to see that.
