The snow is long gone by now, but my queue has finally caught up to it. Just for fun, here’s Rika’s house with grass as close to the front as it’s gonna get until, like, next January, I guess.

The town tree has some of its leaves back, too, which is pretty nice.

Lastly, I’d like to see how long it takes to turn that path in front of my campsite into dirt, so I’m going to be walking across that square (never running, never doing the slooooow walk, just regular walking) across it every day and taking a screenshot each time just to see how long it will take to wear it down.

I think the answer is, like, two weeks? When people were posting hacking guides a couple of years ago, I remember seeing something like that.

And here we go, finally! February 25! I couldn’t remember when the snow melted, so I spent like a week expecting it before it finally happened. Anyway, here we go, we got some beautiful green grass, and, like every year, I’ll now watch for a couple of weeks as the grass in front of Rika’s house deteriorates into a brown patch that will stay brown until the next time it snows.

Honestly, I really do hope that something happens that makes me willing to quit this game. Not because I want to retire the blog; I just hope there’ll be some new game that I pick up so completely that I say “I guess there’s no point in continuing to play New Leaf anymore!” and so does everybody else in the world. It’s just been so long, you guys. So, so long.
