i mean... 10 years later and back to where it all began.

Long ago, in a land far, far away, spirits used to rule. There was only one person that could communicate with them and the lands inhabitants. That person was The Mayor. Everyone in the land was happy and enjoyed living there. They enjoyed the ordinary things of living there, like collecting fish and bugs. The spirits and Mayor made sure they all treat nature with utmost respect.

But far too soon, The Mayor left. A long time passed and the spirits became angered and scared away the lands inhabitants. Without a Mayor, what were they supposed to do? The spirits became dormant.

Then, a new Mayor showed up. One who was totally inexperienced and wasn't supposed to be there at all. But the new Mayor wasn't someone who just gave up. She started to try and bring back the spirits that made the land look beautiful. The spirits, however, were wary. How could they trust another Mayor, when the one they trusted and loved just disappeared?

The spirits took matters into their own hands. When the next full moon came, they bundled their powers and turned one of the spirits into a human, so that they could communicate with the inhabitants themselves. The spirit they turned into a human had trouble understanding the human ways. She was always barefoot and lived in a tent, always having a magical campfire inside. But because she was part human, part spirit, she had trouble seeing who was real and who wasn't. So she mostly stayed indoors or wandered around the woods.

Then, slowly but surely, the spirits accepted the new Mayor, who had named the land Mystoria. With the help of the spirits, inhabitants, her team and the spirit-turned-human, Mystoria flourished. The new Mayor accepted the love spirits have for nature, and kept the town as natural as it could possibly be. Spirits still lingered, which led to a cold feeling and unexpected snow. But the inhabitants and Mayor loved the land either way.
