Not Quite A Hero Yet
Name: Link St. John Smythe
Age: 19
Alignment: Lawful Good
Sexual preference: Asexual, panromantic
Religion: Though he questions his faith daily, he believes in the golden goddesses.
Star sign: April 16, Aries. Sums him up about right.
Languages spoken: Hylian, and while fluent he stumbles over his words often. He's got a vague understanding of Ancient Hylian, but only in so much as the words look familiar to him, sometimes. It's complicated.
Vices: Stubborn, reckless, thick-headed at times, rash, selfless to the point of idiocy, self-conscious at times, thinks he's a coward if he's not risking his neck.
Virtues: Brave, loyal, level-headed, friendly, impeccable mental fortitude, protective, forgiving, always there when you need him most.
Occupation: Professional farm boy. No, seriously.
What skills do they use for that occupation?: As he's been doing it for many years, Link meets all the physical requirements for a job involving strenuous work on Lon Lon Ranch. Before that, however, he worked part-time assisting his uncle in the smithy, so he has some experience there as well.
Describe their father: Peter Gallagher, a lowborn knight. Not a bad bone in his body, the most wayward thing he ever did was wooing Clarissa. He married her after discovering she was pregnant with his child. He later died in a battle where he was fighting for the freedom of non-humans.
Link was raised by Peter's older brother Ezekiel, referred to as "Uncle Zeke". While his bedside manner was lacking more often than not, he was a solid father figure for Link and loved him dearly. After contracting a sickness, Zeke died when Link was thirteen.
Describe their mother: Clarissa St. John Smythe, a pianist born into a wealthy family. Good at working with her hands, graceful in her movements. She married below her class, causing her family to disinherit her. The news that her husband had been killed did not sit well with her, and she died giving birth to her only son, Link.
Compulsion and addictions: None.
Phobias and fears: Losing his loved ones. Right now he's a bit afraid of his dreams as well.
Disabilities: None.
