i'm not sure

it's like

so many people are upset right now

whether it's because they feel unwanted or unimportant

and i feel incredibly helpless because i don't know what the right thing to do is in order to help them

once i almost lost a friend due to overdose

and it happened the day after i talked to him, trying to make him feel better

so i felt horrified because i believed that my words didn't get through to him -- or worse, my words actually made him drive more towards that path.

it's honestly something i don't want to go through again. that's why i feel too scared when it comes to wanting to help someone. what if my efforts are in vain again?
