I wonder if we’re going to have some sort of reveal on Autumn Equinox? Considering this whole thing BB have put together? Or is it purely for fun and promo? It just seems a little sus that it’s based around Autumn and book 6 will be releasing in Autumn 🧐 imagine if the title will have something alluding to Lucien eeee I would freak out.

I’ve seen people speculate whether the cover and title reveal might be on the Autumn Equinox and I honestly don’t know what to anticipate at this point. I’m half expecting a surprise drop like “lmao surprise we made you wait this long!” before then but who knows what they’re planning.

Honestly I was seeing it as more of different promo. We got the Valkyries—which is an important part to the story. Now we got Autumn, which is also an important part to the story. There’s no denying there’s a lot circling it. Lucien being the exiled son (at least of LoA’s), Eris trying to overthrow his father, Beron trying to start a war, a potential threat of him allying with Koschei, the whole Beron/LoA/Helion thing, the Eris and Mor thing, the fact that Gwyn has Autumn Court heritage.

I mean it could’ve been just “fun promo” but considering I’m anticipating these next books to be multi pov and multiple journeys in different locations, I wouldn’t be surprised if it has something to do with Autumn being an important storyline to the coming books, just like the Valkyries are. There’s likely going to be many voices and many stories told, many places visited in 6 and 7 at least. 👀

This is not to throw shade at the person who made this comment, I just wanted to use it as an example to talk about what we know about the next books (at least based on what we were told on CHD) and where there seems to be confusion.

The particular comment isn't from a mutual but I did also have this discussion with a mutual yesterday and I think that shows how much confusion there is in how books 6/7/8 are set up as a result of Bloomsbury's unwillingness to share any real details.

From everything we've been told by Sarah, book 6 is not it's own book. It cannot stand alone and it will not close out any arcs. The only reason book 6 is shorter than book 7 is because of how Sarah chose to divide the the 4 parts which got too big for one binding. She could have also put parts I and II in ACOTAR 6 and part III in ACOTAR 7 which would then have made ACOTAR 6 longer in page count and nothing about how the story read would have changed except for the fact that the flow is probably better ending ACOTAR 6 after the framework for the story is laid out but before the action really begins (something that typically takes place in the first part of a book).

Part II of SF begins with Chapter 25. When ACOTAR 7 starts up, we should think of it as if it's starting up with Chapter 25. Sarah might add POVs in book 7 as the story progresses, she might take some away, but it is going to be the same story that was introduced to us in book 6, a story that is just getting started and has not been at all resolved. There was no villain defeated in part I of Silver Flames and no romantic pairing that was finalized and the same will likely be said for ACOTAR 6.

Sure, part I could start with Azriel's pov or Lucien's pov but that does not mean the arc for either character will be resolved by the end of ACOTAR 6 and the chances of anyone accepting a mating bond or even developing a romance at that point is very low, just like it would have been out of left field for us to see Nesta falling in love with / admitting to loving Cassian in the first 24 chapters of SF.

Of course we won't know anything until the next books are released but that is how I interpret the information we were given by Sarah.

The math is simply not mathing. Their fave Elriel says she has insider information that Elriel is endgame and yet they are organizing a coordinated spam protest to pressure the publisher? Baby, if the insider information were actually as true and your fave pathological narcissistic liar says, why are they unionizing to harass bloomsbury? Nothing screams “we know exactly what’s coming” quite like needing to assemble because the marketing isn’t validating your ship fast enough. Pick a struggle: either your insiders know something and can relax or you’re launching Operation Spam Bloomsbury because you’re terrified they don’t.

I heard something about this!! I didn’t think it was actually true though! 🤣🤣 From the side that is oh so confident with their “insider” information they are gonna try and bully Sarah and Bloomsbury into giving us information on book 6?! They have a timeline they are working with, we might not understand it or like it but it is what it is. We aren’t getting any information on that book until they are ready to give it to us. A bunch of mean girls throwing a fit online isn’t going to change that. God why does it not surprise me something like that came from e|riels. 🙄

Oh, I’m also still waiting on that gardening merch we were promised was dropping months ago. Someone needs to look into it.
