The healer said that only the mate would know what she needed to get better. At no point did she say the mate would discover WHAT SHE WAS but rather what she NEEDED!

Elain literally ASKS for sunlight. The IC spent months watching Elain wasting away in that house and NO ONE did a thing. They didn't even act when Amren spoke up. And then Lucien shows up, the one who tells them to get off their asses and take the girl to see the sea, walk in the garden, GET SOME SUN Because HE couldn't go anywhere near her! Which was exactly what she needed! Just like the healer said! And Azriel even says, "She doesn't need anything, we're the ones who do," while the girl is literally BEGGING for sunlight.

What the hell do you think would've changed if Azriel had said she was a Seer and then kept leaving the girl catatonic in that room?! Finding out she was a Seer wasn't what she needed to get better, she literally just needed some SUNLIGHT!

For the love of God, spare us and your own fandom this nonsense. Azriel is NOT and NEVER will be Elain's mate. She ALREADY HAS a mate. She HEARS his heartbeat, she FELT him PULLING the BOND between them. LUCIEN was the one who figured out exactly what she needed. Just like the healer said!

What do you think is going to happen by twisting the CANON just to justify your pathetic theories? That SJM is going to read them and suddenly think "oh that actually makes sense. Let me rewrite everything I've written so far, including the books that are already finished, just to make these girls happy."

I don't think he's casual readers' favorite, not a all around favorite and I understand when he is not someone's favorite, but he is just such a wonderful character !!

he has so much to explore, he always helped everyone and, as it was said in the book itself, he was made for something greater
