Ok so Nesta can be a jerk to people and she hides her true self so she doesn't get hurt

Rhys acts like a jerk to the world and most of his subjects because he doesn't want people messing up his favorite city

Rhys is mean to the world and nice to his family the IC. Nesta is mean to the IC because they are not her people not yet and possibly not ever. They are not her safe spot. They are the people that have hated her since day one.

Nesta being super stubborn about a small thing that doesn't really matter to her but then she realizes how much it means to Cassian and quickly compromises.

Possible Nesta responses to getting kicked out

1. Looks Feyre dead in the eyes and says "ok you can push me out of here force me out of your life but just be sure this is what you want because I won't be coming back, ever."

2. Solemnly says "fine" walks out the door and as she is about to leave "and you painted father Wong, his eyes were brown not blue"

3. My personal favorite as she tries to handle the news vases and lamps around the room start exploding, paintings are ripped off the wall as her powers go haywire

4. She nods and says fine but that she would like to say good bye Elaine out in the garden. Then she makes a rub for it

5. Says ok but that she will have to be back Thursday "an appointment with the doctor to do a sonogram"

6. She literally just passed out and wakes up in the mountains

7. Screams "oh hell no" and then uses her majic to get out of there

8. Looks at then and asks "what are you not telling me?" And they admit that the queen are causing trouble and they may need her ready to defend the humans

9. She actually has been preparing for this since the winter fight with Cassian when he basically told her to leave. And has been pen palling with Eris and goes to meet him in the hewn city

10. She wakes up. It was a dream. Her and Cassian actually have a house in the mountains already and she manages it while being the political advocate for the humans and the illyrians in veralis oh and she has adopted all the children that are alone

Nesta needs a cat. A feral deranged lookin cat that only goes to her and hisses ferociously at anyone else

I'd buy a copy of ACOMAF, ACOWAR, and ACOFAS with just the Nesta/Cassian/Nessian moments

Remember when Feyre went into Nesta mind when they were looking for the cauldron? She said it was darker and more shut off than Rhysand his brain. Rhys suffered through a lot of self hate. I think Nesta is going to have to deal with that too. She probably has a lot of self hate about she dealt with her father, her childhood, how the mothers death was handled, and everything since then. This girl is suffering. I'm so glad for ACOSF because she is going to get a chance to truly love who she has become
