Today marks 19 years of his kiss being the only one that I crave. After saying, swearing & believing with my whole heart that I would NEVER get married... we married after only dating 3 months! Within the first two weeks of dating, @rlkirby1016 said “you’re going to be my wife”. I rolled my eyes & thought 💭 “yeah okay, you do not have to try this hard, let’s just go eat.” Lol 😆. At that time I’d never seen a healthy, faithful marriage & I never wanted to go through that type of misery & pain. Marriage scared me but for some reason this man... I found a sense of security. We both said this is forever & made a vow to one another before getting married to always be faithful & to let no outside source distract or break us. It AHMAZES me every single year that God not only crushed my fear/view of marriage but he made my marriage the example of one that I’d never seen. Here we are 19 years later going strong, faithful, in love & committed to always fight for our marriage. 🙌🏽 If I told you that we’re always each other’s favorite person every day... I’d be lying. I get on his nerves & he gets on mine at times. The little habits that we’re once cute to each other aren’t so cute anymore. Lol 😆. But we find other things that we absolutely love about each other. He still makes me laugh like no one else. I STILL love being with & around him. Together we have accomplished, conquered & demolished great things together. We’ve walked through hell & back, gone through some of the toughest times together & I know that NO ONE has my back like this man. He is my friend, my partner, my husbanger, my happy place, my safe place, the father of my children & the absolute love of my life. I don’t want to imagine my life with anyone but you Richard Kirby. You are as I’ve always said... the epitome of God’s unconditional love for me. Thank you for shattering my fears & walking through every journey with me no matter what.
