Delicately swooning as it glides along sublimely is See Me To The Road, an acoustic and electronic blend of moving, sentimental beauty from Lyon, France based musician Meeka Kates. Oozing with soul, it pumps airily and weightlessly once the synths and beats kick in. The intriguing new artist has been working on his project for the past year, finding a finely crafted intersection between the acoustic singer songwriter style of music he grew up on and the new electronic aesthetic we've all fallen in love with lately. A full length LP is due out later this year, and I'm eager to hear what amazing, refined music will be on it.
