The next three personality types talking about the game’s 2-year anniversary.
That’s all!
I’ve been trying super hard to practice more “mindfulness” lately, though my version is more just to try to stop myself from ruminating on depressing or frustrating thoughts than it is for anything else (I absolutely cannot stand trying to meditate, for example). So I can relate to wanting to just heading down to the beach to reflect on a day. I can’t relate to dropping a tied pouch into the branches of a coconut tree, though, which is what Opal did. Take my word for it. This lady elephant climbed a tree and then lost her little blue pouch.
This is just a fun mental image, you know? Especially since Opal is a very large elephant. Don’t dwell on it for too long, though, unless that’s, like, your thing. It’ll stop being funny after a while... whether it’s your thing or not, actually.
Opal talking about the start of Spring. She’s right about the days getting longer, but that started shortly before Toy Day. Don’t get me wrong, though. I love it when the days get longer. My ideal locale would feature exactly 12 hours of sunlight every day of the year. I guess that’d be, like, at the equator, but also the equator would probably be pretty hot and I’m not super interested in that part. Can’t have it all, I suppose!
I just couldn’t resist mentioning how totally different the reactions you can give to animals asking for their personal furniture item are. See, because I’m always giving snacks to the lowest-level animal, they pretty much all hit level 15 within the same couple of days, and I got all of their requests in a short time.
I didn’t expect the jazz instruments to get their own special dialogue, but I did like that there was a set of five instruments I could set up in my campsite to make a discordant band of five animals each playing their own song. I don’t normally spend leaf tickets on this kind of event-limited furniture, either, but I had to buy this piano. It’s a loop that prevents me from buying the different landscape options for sure.
Anyway, Opal’s advice is to not wash your guitar under running water, or soak it in water. Good advice.
Some Valentine’s Day commentary:
Agnes made salty chocolate for her friends and hopes they don’t notice it.
Opal wants me to give her chocolate, but won’t admit to it, so she wants me to just do it while she can deny having asked.
Chief wants chocolate and is totally fine with asking for it.
Paolo wants to eat a “heedless” amount of chocolate.
Opal enjoying the regal castle. She isn’t interested in being a princess, and I’m not sure who even brought that up. It’s obviously way better to be a queen or an empress, right? Like, isn’t that extremely self-evident?
