Frenzy chapter 11

"So this is the place you wanted to take us hmp This is amazing! The holo- nerd shop is totally awesome." Mark cheers as him and his friends walks inside the store, exploring the vast selection of comics sitting the brown wooden walls around them.

Pearl steady approaches the shiny turquoise comic book with a fongoid perched up in mediation mode, holding a stick. "Fongoid with a stick." The title wasn't bringing any attention to Pearl so she shrugs her shoulders and walks off in disinterest.

Marie gasps, she couldn't believe that her best friend had put one of the best comics of all time down. Marie picks up the comic book, waving it in the air and sprinting towards Pearl from behind. "Pearl, Pearl!" Marie slides in front of her friend to stop her.

Pearl was caught in surprise about what her friend could of possibly found until she saw the comic book that she just put down. Her bright face sudden turns into a disappointed expression.

Pearl sighs. "Why did you bring me that boring comic?"

"Boring? How is it boring?"

"The title." Pearl answers in a dull tone.

"You wanna know what my third grade teacher told me? Never judge a book by its cover." Marie opens the comic book.

Pearls eyes dilates in interest when she sees the first few pages of the book. "This is amazing!" She begins to flip through the book.

The first page shows the superhero flying through the bright blue sky to free a civilian dangling on the top floor. The apartments were on fire and it was only a matter of time before the building collapses. Pearl skims through a few pages and sees that the superhero was using his superhero to stop the building from burning. Pearl was interrupted from examining the comic book.

"Hey guys you gotta check this out!" Timmy was super excited for them to see.

The group of the oddly friends walks up behind Timmy, hunched together. Their mouth dropped in awe from staring at a old record of Courtney Gears.

"Woah I never thought that we will ever run across anything like this again!" Passion gasps. She was studying the details of Courtney Gears record. Courtney Gears was sitting sideways on the cover with Skid McMarx and a few other robots, they were fanning Courtney Gears with a huge tropical leaf.

"So is anyone going to buy this?" Mark questions. He wanted to buy it but unfortunately he didn't have enough money to buy it.

"I volunteer his tribute." Pearl grabs the record. "It's probably a rare so why not keep it?"

"I volunteer her tribute?" Timmy was confused at what Pearl said.

"Y'know the Hunger- never mind" Pearl had to stop herself. None of her friends knew about the Hunger Games and they wouldn't get the reference.

" Oh look at the action figures!" Passion  points running towards them.

There were shelves full of them. There was one shelf dedicated to Captain Qwark.

"Woah would you look at this?" Amber gasps. "I'm definitely buying this!" Amber took the one Captain Qwark action figure that was eating popcorn.

"Who's Captain Qwark?" Pearl still was quite new to the planet and had tons of things to learn.

"He's our president." Sydney answers. "He's kinda dumb though."

Pearl snickers a bit. "Oh wow really? I never thought that a president could be even capable of being dumb."

"Yep I never believed either until he came in office. Hey check out those holo-games!" Sydney was excited that she spots them.

The gang rushes over to the holo-games. They had a lot of Dr.Nefarious games as well as the other known villains in the universe.

"Huh I never understood why most of the holo-games had only villains." Timmy rubs his chin as he watches the screen play a demo of one of the games.

"Because players like us like to kick villains butts!" Marie grabs one of the controller and nudges at Pearl. "C'mon Pearl, join me!"

Pearl shook her head. "Why do I have to play as the villain?"

"Are you really asking this question? You play as the hero all the time at my place now it's your turn." Marie laughs waiting for Pearl to join.

Pearl chuckles joining Marie. "Hmm what character should I play as?"

"You should play as Vox." Yummy suggests. "He's the guy that was in the battle area. A yellow Lombax fought him."

"Alright then!" Pearl uses her joystick to pick the character.

Marie has picked a robot to play as a hero. The two of them begin to battle it out on the screen. Although Marie's robot had tons of superpowers, Pearl's robot had tons of major comeback moves.

"This is getting intense." Mark and Amber comments, they couldn't take their eyes off the screen.

"No way I have to record this!" Passion takes her holo-phone out and records the fight.

Timmy begins to nimble at the base of his fingernails. He was low key rooting for Pearl even though he hates villains. The two girls attracted the eyes of many inside the store.

"Woah this is the longest play I have ever seen!" A blarg was amazed about how long this battle as been going on.

Once Pearl's launch meter was full she used it against Marie and Pearl takes the fongoid out.

"Player two has won"

The crowd cheers at Pearl and Marie. Mark lifts Marie up on his back and Timmy did the same for Pearl. They celebrate their win together. Passion took confetti and threw it at the girls.

"Amateurs." A guy yells. He was slightly away from the crowd with his arms crossed with his two friends next to him.

Everyone stopped celebrating and looks at his direction.

Alright I know I have posted a chapter of FanFiction in almost a year but hey better late than never and I'm back 😁. I just finished my sophomore year of college and onto my junior year. I am looking forward to finish a few of my FanFiction this summer and thank you guys so much for reading and supporting me. I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. There's more to come so stay tuned!
