Last night I had the privilege and pleasure of watching a dress run for Candlestick and yall.... let me tell you .... this show ran me through every emotion brilliantly. Family. Culture. Ritual. Sacred space. Love. Loyalty. Change. Gentrification. San Francisco. All of it. Hit me straight to my core. Every performer is captivating. Ellen Sebastian Chang is a Divine Director in every sense of the phrase. Ben Fisher wrote his a$$ off , JOAN OSATO WITH THE VISUALS, Tanya Orellana and Brittany White literally recreated the Candlestick parking lot, Chris Sauceda made it so what it do with the sound and Maximiliano Urruzmendi designed gorgeous lights. So many reasons to not miss this show. Plus it’s Campo, we never fail. You really really really should come see this play. It is heart and soul. *It’s also a great way to get your dose of football while honoring the boycott coughcough* Come dressed in your flyest gear and meet us at the best tailgate party of the season.
