Dear wonderful Word Elf parents, . It's week 4 of our "Word Elf" theater classes, and this week we'll meet a brief stop back at planet Earth to meet some very odd creatures right in our own backyard -- red-nosed clowns! . Clowning has become one of our students favorite "Word Elf" activities. When students "transform" into their clown, they enter a space where they can be present, where any and all ideas are accepted, where their inner goofball can be embraced. . And if you find that when you pick your child up, you're bringing home "Goofy the Clown" instead, don't worry -- all our students will receive a Clown Nose that they can take home with them after the final Showcase on Nov. 10th. ;D . ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ . Oh, and just as a reminder! Because of our unprecedented numbers of students, this Fall we are implementing a Drop-In Sign-Up system so that Maya and I have a better sense of how many students to expect at each class. .
