For January's play we are reading Sweat by Lynn Nottage and discussing it 01.31.2021 at 5pm-6:30pm CST.
About Sweat: Filled with warm humor and tremendous heart, SWEAT tells the story of a group of friends who have spent their lives sharing drinks, secrets, and laughs while working together on the factory floor. But when layoffs and picket lines begin to chip away at their trust, the friends find themselves pitted against each other in a heart-wrenching fight to stay afloat.
If Sweat isn't your speed then be on the look out for the rest of the season up right now on our website and pick your favorite or a play you've been meaning to read!
*When purchasing your link to the Zoom play club meeting we will also send you a pdf of the play to read, so you are prepared for the discussion. We may even have the playwright sit in to discuss the play with us for some meetings! We will also be recording each play club meeting for promotional purposes.
