Action #1 Week 12 - June 12th, 2013
This is actually the last session of activity that I'm doing for my Action bit of CAS. During the very last session, we essentially just reviewed everything that we have learned throughout the CAS activities in the past twelve weeks.
This week, we were also accompanied by Kak Martin again where we had the chance to practice all techniques that we acquired, such as the backhand, serve, net plays, basic footworks, as well as a little bit of smash, although I haven't really quite mastered it yet.
I believe that this CAS activity has indeed helped me to achieve the learning outcomes that I aimed for in the beginning of the activity. During the badminton practices, I certainly have increased my awareness of my own strengths and weaknesses in terms of which badminton techniques have I become better in and which do I need to work more on. I also have learned to work collaboratively with others because I have played different kinds of games of badminton throughout the activities, such as multiplayer games. At the same time, it also increased my ability to do planned and initiated activities, because whenever I wanted to go for a practice, I had to coordinate it with my activity partner, Vicky, so we can practice together.
