Bit gutted today because I was meant to be at the second half of an awesome Active Citizens Training project all about periods, but I woke up to my alarm at 6am and just knew I was too exhausted and in too much pain to go; even if I’d powered through and dragged myself out of bed, I wouldn’t have enjoyed the day as I’d be grumpy, suffering, and in too much pain to concentrate and participate properly. So I’m having a chill day; so chilled in fact, I’m still in bed! I’ve slept about 12 hours last night, and feel much better for it. I honestly hadn’t realised just how knackered I was. I’m sad I’ve missed today, but I refuse to beat myself up about it. I did the sensible thing staying home; I have been so busy for the last few weeks that I’ve used up not just all my spoons 🥄 but a fair share of knives 🔪 too (if you don’t get this, google Spoon Theory and Knife Hypothesis)!
