Tony Stark Prompt:

The Avengers have an activity night every week for team bonding. Each week a different person gets to pick the activity. Everything is great until they notice that whatever Tony picks is always something another team member likes to do (spa night for Natasha, football for Steve, paintball for Clint, etc.). When confronted, Tony claims that he just doesn't have a favorite hobby, but in reality, it's because he wants them to like him. The Avengers set out on a quest to find Tony's favorite activity.

We arrived at City of Hope in Duarte at around 4:45pm and started loading up the box & a half of supplies into the family recreation room. Once inside, we quickly set up for the planned activities and the three of us nervously waited to start our first day of the program.

The nervousness was very short lived; once the kids came in, laughter and friendship filled the room in minutes. Although there weren’t as many kids as we’d planned for, it allowed the team to spend more quality time with the kids and understand their physical limitations, personalities, hobbies, and thoughts on the activities to help create more meaningful experiences for them.

Disney/Musical Night!

Hello, all! In case you have not already been informed, our next activity night will be on Friday, May 27th, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the auditorium. The first Friday after spring break. The theme for the evening will be Disney/Musical so you are encouraged to dress up as a character and enter to win our costume contest!

Also, please know that we have invited the Parkway North drama club to join us so we ask that people PLEASE bring food or beverages to share since we are expecting to have extra mouths to feed. 

Lastly, we may be watching a movie so please feel free to bring in a Disney film or a musical and we will be voting on one during the event. It’s not set in stone that we will be watching a film but it’s definitely a possibility.
