A/N: Apologies if the start of this seems slow, there’s so much that has to happen before Y/N and Harrison can be together, but I have a plan. I’m so excited to get into the depth of this story, and I really hope you stick around long enough to enjoy it!
Summary: Isn’t it lovely? When someone loves you more than anything else in the world. For Y/N the concept of love was foreign; even if she was adored by millions of loving fans. Love scared her, for a good reason too. She’d never been around it in a pure way. It had always been destructive, harmful. That was until she met a certain someone. A certain someone named Harrison.

The elevator ride was full of laughs as Y/N and Harrison continued to poke fun at their friend. The elevator dinged, signaling their arrival to the lobby. “Here love,” Harrison spoke, shooting her a smile, “Let me get your bags.”
Y/N felt a blush creep up her neck, “A-are you sure?” she stuttered slightly, her bottom lip between her teeth.
He grinned, grabbing her bags in his hands, “Of course, love,” noticing her hesitation, he continued, “It’s not a big deal Y/N, promise.”
Y/N fiddled with her hands before sighing, “Alright,” she nodded, moving to exit the elevator, “If you’re sure,” she shot him a grateful smile, and stepped out, waiting for him.
“Well, if I had to say,” Tom spoke quietly as they exited the elevator, “I’d say that you might have a chance with our favorite movie star,” he grinned at his friend, noticing the light blush making its way up his face.
“Shut up Tom,” Harrison muttered as they stopped next to Y/N.
“Thanks again Haz,” she spoke softly, small smile in place.
“It was no problem love,” he grinned, “I’ll take these out to the car,” he motioned to the door with his head before making a swift exit, his back muscles visible through the thin, white t-shirt he sported.
“Well that was just absolutely adorable,” Tom spoke from beside her, teasing grin in place.
“Whatever Tom, he was just being nice,” Y/N’s gaze stayed on Harrison’s retreating figure a moment longer before flickering up to Tom’s.
Tom grinned, shaking his head, laughing lightly, “If you say so,” he nudged her shoulder with his before moving to the door as well.
Y/N laughed softly, shaking her head, “What did I miss?” Evans spoke from behind her, a look of slight confusion on his face.
“Nothing,” she blurted quickly, her cheeks heating up at her thoughts.
He raised a brow, “Are you sure?” A smirk toyed with the corner of his lips.
Y/N huffed, rolling her eyes, “Yes I’m sure,” she playfully smacked his arm, “Now let’s go mister ‘We have this and this and this to do today’,” she teased, pulling him along by his shirt.
Evans let out a hearty laugh, “Well if I didn’t know any better I’d say you were quite flustered,” the two walked out of the hotel, stopping at the curb where the limo waited idly to take Y/N, Evans, Tom, and Harrison to the interview.
“Would you shut up,” Y/N hissed, smacking him again.
Evans shook his head, a chuckle falling from his lips, “Alright, alright, I yield,” he threw his hands up in surrender, causing the young girl to roll her eyes.
“You did not just steal a line from Loki,” she muttered, her head shaking in embarrassment.
Harrison stood next to Tom as the two waited for Y/N and Evans to make an appearance. “So,” Tom started, knowing grin on his face.
“Oh shut up Tom,” Harrison’s cheeks flushed, and he moved his gaze to the ground, desperately trying to hide from Tom.
“No, no, no,” he laughed, pushing Harrison’s shoulder lightly, “We gotta talk about this.”
Harrison shot Tom an annoyed look, “What exactly do we have to talk about?”
Tom laughed again, shaking his head, “Your completely obvious crush on Y/N.”
“Is it really obvious?” Harrison’s voice shot up an octave, causing Tom to die laughing.
“Oh man,” he wiped an invisible tear from his eye, “I mean, I don’t think she knows, but everyone else can see it a mile away,” Tom shrugged.
Harrison smacked Tom’s arm, causing the young actor to furrow his eyebrows, “Shut up would ya? She’s right over there, talk any louder, and I’m sure she’d be able to hear you.”
Tom raised a brow, turning around to find Y/N and Evans standing by the car a few feet away. “Oh, so you don’t want her to know about your crush?”
“Tom,” Harrison hissed, furrowing his brows as he continued to watch Y/N interact with Evans. “Do you think she likes him?” He asked quieter.
Tom whipped his head to his friend, “Evans? God no,” he laughed loudly, nearly doubling over with laughter, “Haz, you div, he’s like ten years older than her or something,” he smacked his friend on the back of his head, “Plus, he plays her dad in the movie. Gosh, you got it bad,” Tom shook his head, moving towards the other actors. “C’mon now, if we don’t leave soon, we’ll be late,” Tom called over his shoulder.
Harrison shook his head, “You’re such a div,” he muttered to himself before following after Tom, who was now chatting animatedly with Y/N and Evans.
“So Robert, what can you tell us about Tony and Peter’s relationship? Is it strictly business, or is there a father/son undertone to it?” A fan asked Robert.
Robert shifted in his seat, leaning more to the right, “Well, I think Tony saw this kid who is struggling to figure out his new abilities, and I think a part of Tony wants to be there to help the kid out,” he paused, thinking through his answer, “I think that the more time they spend together, the more Tony starts to project a fatherly image onto Peter. Somewhere deep down, whether he’s ready to admit it to himself or not, I think Tony really does see Peter as a son,” he shrugged, giving a small smile to the fan.
“Thank you, Robert, for that answer,” Jeff Goldblum said, reaching into his bin to grab another ball. “Alright, our next question goes to Miss Y/N L/N,” he smiled, looking over to her. She smiled back and gave a small wave, picking up her microphone, “Alright, yes you, right there,” he smiled to a fan that jumped up in the crowd, causing the cast to chuckle.
“Hi Y/N, first I just wanted to say that I’m such a huge fan of you,” Y/N blushed slightly at the compliment, her smile growing wider, “And my question for you is, the last time we saw Amber, she was still shaken up over the events of Civil War, how do you think she’s coping with coming out of that war only to go straight into another one?”
“Oh gosh,” Y/N laughed lightly, “Well, for Amber, Civil War held a lot of weight on her seeing how she is Steve’s daughter,” she motioned to Evans, who sat a few people down from her, “Going against her Dad kinda put a bit of a strain on her relationship with him,” she paused, wetting her lips, “After Civil War, we know, of course, that Amber returns back to the compound with Tony, and she hasn’t really heard from her dad since,” she winced slightly, “I think she’s slowly starting to grow tired of all the fighting, it was never something she pictured herself doing, so I guess that will kinda show in this next movie,” Y/N shrugged, squinting slightly to look at the fan through the bright stage lights.
“Perfect answer,” Jeff nodded, reaching in the bin once more, “Alright moving on to Tom Holland,” a roar went up in the crowd, causing the young actor to bow his head and blush.
Harrison stood off to the side, backstage watching the interview go on. His focus was mainly on Y/N, and how she would fidget slightly in her seat, trying to find a comfortable position. The bright lights brought out her E/C eyes, and Harrison couldn’t stop the grin from pulling at his lips. He could watch her work all day, whether that meant watching her act, interact with fans, or apparently, even doing an interview. His feelings for the young actress were rapidly beginning to grow, something he wasn’t used to. He couldn’t help but smile every time someone brought up her name, or she entered the room.
An hour and a half later, the cast filed off the stage, laughing and clapping one another on the shoulder. “Well,” Tom started, nudging Y/N with his shoulder, “That’s one interview done, now for the next leg of the press tour,” he chuckled lightly.
Y/N shook her head, a small smile in place, “Oh don’t remind me,” she scrunched up her face playfully, “I got paired with you and Evans,” she rolled her eyes.
Tom placed a hand on his chest, “Do you not want to do this with me, love?” He mocked being offended, laughing when Y/N playfully pushed him away.
“Whatever Holland,” she grinned as they stepped off the stage, walking over to where Harrison was waiting.
“Haz,” Tom started, grinning at the sight of his best friend, “You’re not going to believe this,” he looked over to Y/N, pointing a finger in her direction, “She says she doesn’t want to do the press tour with me.”
Y/N’s eyes widened, and she smacked Tom’s arm, “You liar!” she laughed, shaking her head, “I never said that.”
“You implied it, love,” Tom stuck his tongue out at her.
She rolled her eyes again, “Can you believe this guy Haz?” She looked over to Harrison for the first time since she walked off the stage.
Harrison’s heart skipped a beat as his nickname rolled off her tongue, “He’s such a baby,” he rolled his eyes playfully, grinning at Tom.
“You two are the worst,” Tom sighed, pretending to pout.
“Oh whatever you big baby,” Y/N rolled her eyes, grabbing onto his bicep, “Now c’mon, Evans is waiting for us at the car. They even filled it with juice boxes for you,” she sent a playful wink at him, causing both boys to erupt with laughter.
“I’m going to kill Mackie,” Tom muttered under his breath, allowing the young girl to practically drag him out of the building.
“Where have you guys been?” Chris asked, pushing himself off the side of the car when he saw the group walk over to him.
“Sorry Chris, someone,” she sent an accusing glare to Tom, “Got us lost inside the building.
“I did not!” He defended.
“Mate, yes you did,” Harrison laughed, shaking his head at his friend.
“Who’s side are you on Harrison?” Tom whined, following his friends over to the car.
“That’s not the point Tom,” he shook his head again, and the group filed into the car.
“Well, our flight doesn’t leave for another hour,” Chris spoke, looking up from his phone once they were all in the car, “So do you guys want to grab some food at the airport?” He looked at the younger three, who shared a look.
“Yeah sure,” Y/N shrugged, settling back into the plush, leather seats, “I could eat.” She grinned.
“Oh we’re well aware love,” Tom laughed as she smacked his arm, a grin on both of their faces.
“He’s got a point N/N,” Chris grinned from the other side of the car.
Y/N rolled her eyes, “Y’all are the worst,” her grin was still in place, “I can’t believe I’m stuck with y’all,” she stuck her tongue out playfully. Harrison sat on her right, an amused smile on his face as he watched the actors interact with one another. Tom and Y/N were always like this, and whenever Chris was around, he tended to tease Y/N just like a real parent would, which Harrison found extremely amusing.
“Hey now,” Chris shook his head, grin still in place, “That’s no way to talk to your Dad, Y/N.”
“You’re my on-screen dad, not my dad dad,” Y/N rolled her eyes, playful grin in place.
“Yeah, listen to your father L/N,” Tom stuck his tongue out, his body shaking with laughter.
“Harrison, back me up here,” she motioned in between Chris and Tom.
Harrison shook his head, a chuckle falling from his lips, “I’m sorry Y/N, but you really should listen to your dad,” he teased.
Y/N let her head fall back onto the seat, a small groan leaving her lips, “Not you too,” the boys chuckled, sharing a smirk with one another.
