Actor in need of help from fellow actors!!!
Okay so, let me start this off with a quick recap of my acting career. Since a kid I was always pretending to be someone else. That didn’t stop until my freshman year were I was introduced theater and for the first time I felt like I belonged and I could come out of my own world.
However, with the help of depression and unfortunate circumstances I dropped out of high school during my sophomore year. If I had a top 5 worst years that year would place second.
I haven’t acted since then. I was 450lbs had severe social anxiety and heavy depression I have been dealing with since I was seven. I didn’t have the guts,strength,courage whatever you wanna call it to try to act to try to do the one thing I had only ever put real blood sweat and tears into. That was the single biggest mistake of my life. I don’t regret making it. I’m thankful I did for I love my life who I surround myself with and who I am, but I realize it was a mistake.
I’m now 250 loving life kicking my depressions ass and burning up inside. I have a burning urge to act what do I need to get started. Should I start public should I go to college. What ways can I get back on stage. Please help I need all the help I can. If y’all can point me in the right direction I promise to go out there and get to the point where I won’t look back and say what if
