i think we as a society have evolved past the need for spn cons with actor q&a panels
“he’s lying” I am Chuck I decide what’s canon. he’s spoken it into existence I am simply reaping what he sows.
It goes without saying that it’s primordial to separate a character from the actor portraying them.
Sometimes, it’s because of their shite takes (sorry Ben C), most often, it’s simply because, well, they are not their character (again, sorry Ben C and Jackles), and at other times, it’s just… You know.
Like, I love Castiel, I would die for him he’s perfect he’s never done anything wrong ever. Sure, he has pathetic little meow meow energy but other than that he’s my beautiful little angel and i won’t tolerate any slander.
And then there’s Misha Collins.
The man is such a weirdo. If my feelings towards Castiel are ‘let me paint you like one of my French girls’, when it comes to Misha I’m like ‘I want to study him like a bug’. I want to put him in a particle accelerator and see what happens, I want to put him under a microscope in a saline solution. Anyway, I think I should be allowed to do whatever I want any time I want just bc send post
