Ayo, Broadway might be going on strike? Good for them, they deserve to be paid far better for how much the ticket prices are.

The writers/actors strike will forever go down as the most boring 2 years in American history
The video game actors strike has ended.
SAG-AFTRA's statement: "This agreement builds on three decades of successful partnership between the interactive entertainment industry and the union. It delivers historic wage increases of over 24% for performers, enhanced health and safety protections, and industry-leading AI provisions requiring transparency, consent and compensation for the use of digital replicas in games. We look forward to continuing to work with performers to create new and engaging entertainment experiences for billions of players throughout the world"
The core of what is bothering me about Yellowjackets Season 3 is that it’s getting the Legend of Korra Treatment.
As in: Studio Heads did not renew the show for another season going into this latest season. This season is rushed because the writers are trying to give the show a cohesive enough ending in case it doesn’t get renewed (I’d love if it did but still see no evidence that it has been).
The writers had to cram in plot points they were going to much more slowly develop into the tail end of Season 3.
If the show gets renewed it’s going to have an odd flow, like Korra had.
I am very pessimistic about Studio Heads and the corporate nonsense that impacts these decisions. The actors and writers strikes played a big role in this. (I am not anti strike at all FYI). The very outspoken cast members played into this.
I think that Showtime will cut off their own nose (their most successful show with lots of branding opportunities) to spite their own face (say a ‘fuck you’ to the people who participated in the strikes and had vocal stances against the predatory practices of Studio Heads).
Shitty stuff, man.
