Had a body paint palette laying around that I've been procrastinating testing out. So I did a makeup test for my Air Genasi Bard Zephyr for the current campaign I am in. I learned a lot from this test and I'm already planning things that I can do differently next time! This time last year I made my burlesque debut in the Fly Honey Show. This show was literally life changing for me. When I saw the show in 2018, it was like a spiritual experience. The energy built up in the room was like NOTHING I have ever felt before. Then actually being part of the show last year? I am still struggling to find the words to describe the feeling of being in a space like the @theflyhoneys. It is awe inspiring, encouraging, supportive, and challenging in the best way possible. I have never felt so held and comforted during a rehearsal process that was also shaking me to my core. Encouraging me to break through the years of self doubt, of carrying negative images of myself, my body and my personhood. The atmosphere that Erin, Alyssa, and Casey create is so purely filled with compassion, grace and a ferocious love of everyone they bring into that space. Everyone is seen, heard, cheered on and loved. I am eternally grateful for the experience and I can not wait until we can all be shaking our stingers together. I have been absent from this app for a few months but I have not been idle. Mental health has been a difficult struggle through isolation and a lot of that was made worse by the events of the passed couple of months.  In my frustration and heartbroken anger I wrote some words to express how I was (am) feeling. Because I am an artist and while I often hesitate to call myself a “writer” of any kind, sometimes particularly in these moments of complete despair, I just have to write the words down lest they choke me.  I shared these words, this poem Echo with my theatre company, my friends. 

The response was not only supportive and it was as if a spring had been let go and there was a flurry of action. I have never written a song before, I have never attempted to freestyle, these are things that I never really felt were in my wheelhouse.  But here we are, immediately the gears started turning and Matthew and Cameron started pinging musical notes and soundscapes and such back and forth and I marveled at how quickly these skilled musicians composed music inspired by my words.  I am still in awe at this. This was a collaborative process unlike anything I have ever done before and I am so incredibly grateful for these people who are like family to me. 

I am grateful for the support network I have around me. For those who have held me up when I literally could not stand. Those who have encouraged and guided stood along side me every step of the way. This is my debut song in collaboration with Terra Mysterium and Hela’s Hand Productions. This project is so close to my heart. Please watch and listen with an open mind and an open heart. And please be kind, because as a great and wise woman once said “I am an artist, and I am sensitive about my shit!”

Revamped my Siren that was originally for the Boomer's Brothel tag on Tiktok. Harmony Moss nickname Mimi is moving to Starfall! I am so happy with how this turned out. And I am excited for her to get to know characters in her new home. Also New Hair!! I've wanted purple hair for YEARS!!! I haven't done it because of various shows I was in and headshots are too expensive to be changing my hair too often. But with the continued quarantine situation and the probably that I won't be in an actual theater again until next year some time. I decided to finally get some Overtone and give it a shot.
