so, i'm taking private voice and a musical theatre performance class as well as a class in one person show and feel as if this semester is going to be hella challenging, but an opportunity to extend and expand.

Like, I love my life and my career(s) SO MUCH but getting er'ything I ever wanted all at once can make things a little hard to juggle sometimes. No complaints... just... I hope I don't screw it all up, ya feel?
Got called in for an audition tomorrow that I’m really really really excited about. Yay! And I do mean I’m excited about the AUDITION, not just the idea of the job - how often does that happen?!
1:41AM thoughts
Okay. So. It's silly but sometimes when I love a character so much that when a movie is announced of a play/musical/book featuring her (and sometimes YEARS before) it is almost physically painful for me how badly I want to portray her in a film :-P It's the actual silliest thing especially when it's projects I have a snowball's chance in hell of ever being in, but I just can't help it! I can so easily see the costumes I would wear, the choices I would make on certain scenes, and when I think about how soon the announcement will be that a Name Actress with plenty of Fame will play her, I just know I'll be destroyed. Buuuuuut then that announcement is made and it's always fine and I have yet to experience any kind of destruction. When daydreams become past tense, I move on to someone else, or occasionally just think about being myself 😝 Maybe one day I will love a character to bits and pieces and through the miracle of Luck, Opportunity, and Preparedness get to live her onscreen, to feel the way about a coveted dream role that I've heard Shailene Woodley talk about getting to play Hazel-Grace. In the meantime, I'm starring in a musical that goes up technically tomorrow (Thursday). Time to keep getting better and better at my job until I can build the career of which I dream! That being said... I'm even fully enjoying the (somewhat small!) career I have now. This show is a blast and I adore the people with whom I'm working and I can't wait to CRUSH IT! 😍 Hope you're all working on living your dreams, too!
Two more auditions this week - one tomorrow, one Sunday. Woohoo acting!
Got an e-mail about my audition from the other day: didn't book, but they said they liked my work and wanted to keep me on file. So that's nice! Roxy compared it to a nice break-up letter - "it's not you, it's me" kinda deal. So I'll take it!
Meanwhile, writing . . . s'all going well. Exhausting, so many projects, but all feedback so far has been better than I could hope for and I'm having a lotta fun with my boys :) Hope all y'all are pursuing your dreams with all the ups and downs that come with it, but hanging in there anyway.
