What is prayer? and why is it important to you?
Prayer is asking.
It is important to me because God has ordained that it is effective (James 5:16).
If I will TRUST Him enough to ASK; if I will have enough FAITH to ASK; then He will allow my PRAYER to be the SPARK ⚡️ to the fuel ⛽️ of His power to accomplish His will for His glory.
Immanuel Kant was a German philosopher and is considered by many to be the central figure of modern philosophy. Kant held that reason was the source of morality however he did write the above proving that he, like all mankind, was influenced by the witnesses of CREATION & CONSCIENCE. Read Romans chapters 1 & 2.
King Saul with David is a great Bible example of this proverb. No doubt many times David ate at Saul's table but Saul grew very jealous of David and wanted to kill him. See 1 Samuel 18:8-12 & 20:1-33.
