What is prayer? and why is it important to you?

Prayer is asking.

It is important to me because God has ordained that it is effective (James 5:16).

If I will TRUST Him enough to ASK; if I will have enough FAITH to ASK; then He will allow my PRAYER to be the SPARK ⚡️ to the fuel ⛽️ of His power to accomplish His will for His glory.

Kant held that reason was the source of morality however he did write the above proving that he, like all mankind, was influenced by the witnesses of CREATION & CONSCIENCE. Naturalistic scientists suggest that consciousness emerges from the process of natural selection, acting upon random mutation, which offers survival advantages to species. Philosopher Colin McGinn appropriately points out: “How can mere matter originate consciousness? How did evolution convert the WATER of biological tissue into the WINE of consciousness?” - The spark of consciousness must originate from the same One who turned water to wine 2,000 years ago at the wedding in Cana of Galilee.
