I must be the only Zac Efron fan in all of creation who would prefer he stay far, far away from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
#Disclaimer: This is PURELY a personal opinion.#I'm not looking to offend any Marvel fans.#Those films just do not interest me at all.#Their cinematography is always muddy#the actors aren't really given opportunities to ACT because the characters and stories are so milquetoast#and the world of cinema is so saturated with superhero stuff right now I don't know how everyone hasn't succumbed to 'Marvel fatigue'.#I can think of at least five different genres I would rather see Zac in than 'MCU Superhero Title'.#MCU negativity.#Boring stuff about the blogger.#Let him do an interesting fantasy#perhaps one that's also a period piece and directed by Guillermo Del Toro?#A Christopher Nolan high concept drama?#An action/comedy a la 'The Mummy'?#I'd take him in a Western or a Sci-fi drama with awesome practical effects- miniatures#matte paintings#actual SETS#the works.#Or just more Indie dramas#because he's fantastic in them.#Anything but another mind-meltingly dumb raunchy comedy or a product of the Disney/Marvel machine.
