When Sir John Franklin set out to find the Northwest Passage in 1845, he never returned. From that mystery, began the stories. But why do we keep coming back to these Franklin stories? What do they say about us? And what does it mean today to seek a Northwest Passage?
Just in case anyone is specifically following this sideblog for its random bursts of The Terror content. I have just listened. It is good. They don’t clearly answer the question of why we love this story and keep coming back to it, but maybe that’s because a Srs National Broadcaster feels too embarrassed to roll around in The Feelings.
