lol there's all this talk about McHanzo and how a crack ship is popular. I've been around a long time and when you have a piece of fiction with an ensemble case, people like to ship the weirdest two characters they can find together. Teen wolf is another fandom with a popular crack ship too, Stiles/Derek had only ONE SCENE together in the entire show and it was a dream sequence. Honestly, McHanzo is nothing new and it's just a way for people to get around shipping a black man with anyone imo

Well there’s another example I guess, Overwatch is just the first fandom I’ve been in to display that phenomena. 

I wouldn’t necessarily say that people ship mchan for the express purpose of not shipping Gabriel with anybody although I do agree that there’s a Lot of problematic things concerning Gabriel and ships, particularly something I noticed among R//76 shippers in which it’s portrayed as if Jack isn’t at all at fault, Jack has to rescue Gabriel in a spiritual/moral sense, Jack is the angel to Gabe’s devil, etc etc. 

As a person of color myself, seeing the fandom turn Jack, who canonically is not coping well with what happened at all, into a perfect model of Tragic White Hero Syndrome is honestly the main reason I dislike him.

I think sapphires power/weapon might just be her future vision!! Just because her other fusions don't use it all the time doesn't mean that they don't have it, you know?

I think that’s probably way more likely, I just generally associate that ability with her glasses/third eye!
