I saw your staircase scene comic on my dash and almost spontaneously combusted in amazement because it was so perfect????? And then I went to your blog and all your other art is just as perfect (if not even more so - if that's possible)??? I'm just... awed by your talent. Wow 😳

Heyyyyyyy I haven't talked to you in a while but ik you love soc so I wanted to stop by and just yell for a second bc I finished the first book two days ago and it was sO GOOD I'M STILL NOT OVER IT?!?! I mean I was already half in love with all the characters bc of tumblr but now I'm fully in love, it's a serious issue. 😅 Every time I read a chapter I was like "well this is my fave character now" but then I'd read another and THEY'D be my fave. Wow it was so so so good I'm shook (pt. 1)

Anyway I just wanted to say I started reading them partly bc of your recs to other people (bc I love your writing so much that I figured you must have excellent taste in reading haha) and I was nOT DISAPPOINTED. WOW. I'm about to go pick up the second book from the library now and I'm super excited but also terrified bc I want all my kids to be okay ahhhhhhhh. tl;dr thx 4 rec'ing soc to ppl so I'd want to read it, it's amAZING (pt. 2)

I totally know what you mean like multi POV is sometimes boring and sometimes wildly good, and this was.. wildly good, I love all 6 of them and that’s so rare

On a related note to the book recs, I finished crooked kingdom the other day and now I'm going through book withdrawal ahfjcdjmalz. That duology was so good 😭😭😭 my irl friends keep trying to convince me to read Leigh Bardugo's original grisha trilogy as well, but I tried to read the first one and really didn't get invested in the first hundred or so pages... but now the duology is so good that it's making me reconsider. Have you read tgt, & if so, do you think it's equal quality to soc?

Yes, I’m so glad you loved it!!!! As to her first series, I read the first one a while ago, I think when it came out and felt very meh about it. I didn’t like any of the characters and the love triangle was cliche and distracting. (actually I just checked Goodreads and it says I read the second as well, but I don’t remember at all) I never tried picking it back up again, even after I fell in love with Six of Crows. So no, I don’t think it’s anywhere near as good as soc. But I have only read the first book. I’m pretty sure most people prefer soc to tgt. Her new book looks intriguing, and that might be worth picking up. I plan on getting it later this year. And she wrote Wonder Woman: Warbringer which was SUPER good (pun intended) and I highly recommend.

I love a lot of things about pjo but one of my favorites will always be the way that it championed minorities, from book one - when Percy befriended an awkward pimply boy with crutches, told off anyone who bullied him, and showed kids with ADHD and dyslexia that they didn't have to be ashamed of their disabilities - to the wide variety of representation in the books today. :') that's so important for kids to read, and I'll always be grateful for it!

Duuuuude I feel you wrt using too many different tags lol. Do you have xkit? Bc you can use the "replace a tag" feature on that if you remember all the different tags you used. Saved my life a couple times haha
