Thanks I didn't think you were liking it for any other reason. I didn't think you liked that my dad is...the way he is. it's just weird that im just now realizing stuff. i mean i always knew we weren't close but im just now realizing its affects on me so its weird

Dear past me,

Those people you're trying so hard to impress won't mean shit to you in a few years. They're users, and the sooner you realized that the happier you would've been. Don't be so trusting. Don't give your heart and soul to people who don't deserve it. Smile. An imperfect smile can be perfect if it's genuine. Don't hold back. Be confident. I wish you were more confident.

Dear future me,

I hope one day you'll be able to look in the mirror and be satisfied, for once. I hope, one day, you actually start reaching for the stars and stop settling for whatever works at the moment. You have so much potential. I hope you use it fearlessly, without holding back.
