D.I.Y. Apple Cider Vinegar Facial Toner
D.I.Y. Apple Cider Vinegar Facial Toner
For the past year, I’ve seen radical improvement in my skin ever since I started using a mixture of apple cider vinegar and water as an all natural toner. I apply the toner every single night and on some mornings to my face and neck after cleansing. In the past I honestly did not see the purpose of using a toner, and I just thought it was another way for companies to get us to buy more of…

Hey! Do you think a mixture of apple cider vinegar and water makes a good toner for skin?? Thank you :)
Hi! I don't recommend overusing ACV as a diluted toner only because its slightly acidic much like lime or lemon juice. Due to the acidity when you use it as a toner you might cause an uneven skin tone in the long term due to (white blotching) which happens when the skin is drained out of its natural oils. (not to be confused with oily skin) Also you are drinking it (so it will do the work from the inside out).
But is it okay to use it a few times a week? of course because it is natural & organic at the end of the day and ACV is derived from apple so it has its fair share of polyphenols -- and it naturally balances out the pH level of our skin because its has a pH of 2-5. I always recommend it for dandruff situations as well (which usually occurs when pH of skin on the scalp is not balanced). So just to wrap up this answer, yes you may use it up to 2 times a week, but not on a daily basis so you don't experience white blotches or the opposite effect of an uneven skin tone (due to overuse). Moderation is key here. X Saber
