Spirit - Acrylic on canvas
Some people see a wave. I see an ethereal lynx.
This one is a happy accident. I was experimenting with 2 different cups, figured out this one could turn barely ok, cool, let’s see when it’s dry.
Unfortunately, the support it was placed on was not perfectly flat; to my great disappointment, when when I went back half an hour later to check it out, the design had already slipped quite a lot.
Oh well..
I didn’t touch it, it was too late already, so it continued to slip until it was dry enough. Then I decided it was ugly and I put it aside, in the pile of canvas to be reused.
It took me 10 days to finally notice the hidden spirit lynx/big cat, just when I was about to reuse it aha. Now I love it and I’m very happy it slipped ! :D
