Oh my GODS I just realised I haven't posted since LAST AUGUST.

😣😩 I can't believe I let it go 5 months already without a peep. And the last 2 things I posted weren't even D.C.! So it's been since June that I haven't posted any of my main content. And that one was a really dark one, so most people didn't read it.

My deepest apologies, and just know that I have 35 WIPs (3 JayDick, 4 JayTim, 20 Broken!Verse, 3 Wincest, 1 Black Butler, 1 DabiDeku (BNHA), 1 Merthur, 2 original works) and I am indeed working on them! But I have been incredibly low energy, even for me, since August. Like I haven't done laundry literally since July, I just keep buying new underwear. It's bad.

I have done a little writing every so often, and I feel terribly that I haven't posted anything in so long, but I don't know how long it will continue to be.

Happy 5 years of broken!verse, everybody! 🥳🥳🥳

At 41 fics and over 150k words, about a third of my works are all broken!verse! I truly can't believe it's been that long since I started the series, or that it has expanded to so many parts haha. And it's still going strong!

Here's to many more years of it!

Okay, I think I feel confident enough saying I am OFFICIALLY BACK! 🥳

On that front, I am happy to report that I will be dropping FIVE (5) broken!verse fics this week! Starting tomorrow!

No, there is no mistake, they are completed, and I finished the 2 I needed tonight.

Hopefully, if I can finish one more stubborn one, I will be able to drop 7 more b!v after that, but we shall have to see. I cannot make promises.

I know I have been swearing up and down this whole time that I have been writing, with absolutely nothing to show for it, but hopefully I will finally be able to show many of the things that have just been rotting away in my drive!

This happens sometimes with Broken!Verse, because it's a series that has to be read in sequential order, but I am very bad at actually writing in sequential order haha. So what happens is I have all sorts of fics way down the line completed, but then there are gaps. So I can't post until I fill the gap, and then I can post the fics after up until the next gap.

So yeah, there are 7 being posted this time. Just 2 more left! (Not including today's.)

Just a warning (23 Aug, 2024): I may be disappearing

I didn't think I'd ever quit writing, and I know I just said I wouldn't (and I still don't intend to), but, at risk of oversharing, I am plural and somebody else is trying to take over the body for good and lock me away, so I know it has already been a while since I updated anything, but I may go dark entirely. I'm sorry.

I didn't have time to set up fannish next of kin on AO3, so I'm also really sorry if anything gets deleted. I sent everything to a friend so hopefully she can reupload on another account if that happens.

I've got a very exciting JayTim coming soon! The formatting is...oof. Seriously something else. And I thought It Isn't Sex It's The Next Best Thing was rough. But it'll be worth it! (To me, at least haha.) It's entirely in blog format, so that's why it's such a bitch.

Here's a sneak peek! (The post is much longer than this haha, but this was just a test to figure out the formatting. And I blocked out the comment number because I changed my mind drastically last minute and am not updating the draft. Also I know I misspelled bigoted; not fixing that either.)

I'm getting really excited, because I am getting so close to finally closing gaps and being able to drop a whole bunch of updates for Broken!Verse, and finally, finally catch you guys up to at least some of the very noteable things coming — one in particular.

There's one half-written fic, though what I have written for it needs to be rewritten (it can be repurposed somewhat though, I'm sure, so it should go faster), one fic that's almost done that I've written yesterday and today, and one fic that is still mostly just notes and is going to be a real bitch (I just know it. But I need and want that fic, it's just going to be very very difficult to write and I hate it).

But once I finish those 3 I'll have 12 fics ready to go! They are in clusters because of timing/plot arcs/mini arcs, so I will probably space like a week or something between clusters to separate them, but I'm very excited to be able to start catching you guys up to speed a bit.

Then there will probably be another drought haha, but I do have some more written and mostly written after that, it's just...out of order, once again, and it won't make sense non-chronologically. This is why I never wrote series in the past 😣😩
