Meet the members of the Tech Academy…
Franklin V. Western is the head of the council of the academy, severing the seven six kingdoms. Inventing machines that can help the people in their midst and help their environment. Franklin is a caring man who takes responsibility of the investors that his students makes. Whenever kings or queens are requiring new weapons to stop their enemies, Franklin hates making weapons that destroy lives and the lands. He’ll need to speak with the other councilors to see if they agree or disagree with this decision…
Missis. Blue Hemka, another member of the council. She visits each kingdom to see how their machines are doing and reports back if needed to new equipment. She is a kind, caring and loyal woman, who helps villagers when they are sick or injured. She teaches health class and mechanical engineers. Her daughter Lally helps her as her assistant, she is kind and loyal like her mother. She spent her time reading and studying about the history of the technology. She didn’t had any friends in her ages and mostly studied but she did however made one friend name Ada Brown…
Ada Brown, one of the students who is way above average then others. He’s determined, ingenious, and courageous. Ada dosen’t do anything connected with other students, his life is mostly inventing mechanical and learning new techniques. He created small robotics animals that help keep the forest and sea alive. His first robot he created, G-01 aka Golden, he helps him to continue his work through out the years. He can stretch his arms, light his tail up, lift heavy objects and keeps all record data…
Here’s what the Tech Academy looks like, the area is a ground fissure, also called an earth fissure, is a long, narrow crack or linear opening in the Earth's crust. In travel they go in airships to here and to kingdoms. Same with ships when delivering package to them. There where they mined the crystal that is a soiled of electricity energy that helps them to create mechanical power. Hope you like it^^
I can't wait to introduce you guys to an OC that has been in my mind for a while, but I've finally got her down pat.
Ada Brown, Doc and Clara's third child and only daughter who is born a year after their family settles in the eighties.
Her full name is Ada Sarah Brown; "Ada" for Ada Lovelace and "Sarah" for Doc's mother.
Trying to put together a moodboard now.
Stormy Weather (1943), dir. Andrew L. Stone
Stormy Weather was released on 21 July 1943.
Very loosely based on the life Bill "Bojangles" Robinson (who stars as "Bill Williamson"), the film brought together a "cavalcade" of talent, including Ada Brown, Cab Calloway, Lena Horne, the Nicholas Brothers, Fats Waller, and Dooley Wilson. With a run time of less than 80 minutes, the film features 20 musical acts.
William Grant Still was hired as music supervisor, but resigned for what he considered the studio's stereotyping of performers and performances (Still claimed that the studio wanted the performances to be "cruder and rougher" than he wanted) and encouraged people to write 20th Century-Fox to complain about its false representation of black culture.
Stormy Weather received mostly praise from the mainstream press, and even though almost half of all theaters (mostly in the South) refused to show the film, it was a box office success. It was one of two films released in 1943 which featured an all-black cast (Cabin in the Sky - also starring Lena Horne - was released in April).
