finished sleeve 2 of the sardine sweater! finally washed a handspun 2ply that's been sitting on the bobbin on my cabinet for weeks, finished spinning 100gr of swifter fiber and also washed it (twice!), also started the lakes pullover :-)

for the pullover i've started on the first saddle and its taking SO long?? its only 56 rows but i'm such a slow purler. anyway i'm using isager soft in this beautiful pale blue colour that my phone camera refuses to pick up, and handspun from a while ago to add a stripe!

This album was Eminem's experimentation with Dr. Dre's beats

And it wouldn't be much of a stretch to say that this could play into the theme of Eminem's experimentation with prescription sleep medications, also, notice the fire themed colors, like a candle, that you'd read beside your bed with, or the colors of the room when a smaller dimmer or redder light is flashed. Sleep again!

its been a few days and im still flabbergasted i unknowingly sold my loom to my tumblr mutual, like how does that even happen

also, i sold my rhl! for 2 reasons; the first being that i did not like weaving as much as i thought and was telling myself because i made such a big deal out of it,,like i got it 7 months ago and i made 1 small thing on it, it was just collecting dust ;_;

reason 2 is to make space for the knitting machine

now i am very embarrassed to talk in the weaving reddit discord lol woops

just got a new to me sewing machine!! it's a bernina 533, she's a very light green/cream colour and sews REALLY FAST™

my first time using a knee handle(?) !! she weighs approximately 1 tonne so carrying her from the car that was parked far away to the house was....my poor arms ...

i'm so excited to sew on her aaa!! even though i was originally hoping to get an elna grasshopper model, or the supermatic, i'm still really happy and am sure i will love this machine too

oh my god knitting with my handspun makes me so happy

im working on a little swatch of the flemish sheep test skein from a few days ago; its really thin in some parts which made me realize i need to properly learn to ply

so this is the first time i semi successfully plied!! its a big fat mess because i used test yarn i still had on a bobbin and i was doing it wrong which made me think i broke my wheel (i did not).

the pink is a mystery synthetic (i think) fiber thats really soft but hard to spin with, it was a test i just spun up to see if my wheel still works (it does)

knitting update time!

halfway done with sleeve 2 of the sardine sweater, bought the old fashioned cardigan pattern by doorumi design and wanted to swatch with doubled up drops flora + 1 strand of veritas lys. you can't see the pattern because in my 6 rows i only made mistakes, BUT! this yarn combo sucks ass, it's way too slippery 😭 i'm debating on ordering bc garn loch lomond for it though >:)
