Hanging out with the Yuu's

I just had a thought that what if Ayu, my twst OC, hung out with the Yuu's and it was so adorable in my head that I just HAD to draw it (Please don't let Ayu hold a sword Yuuken, that is a disaster waiting to happen) Yuuken: Okay don't get too excited and start swinging, that's dangerous Ayu: Sword..!! Yuuka: You're so light! How much does your aunt feed you?? Ayu: *internally screaming*

A ship summary and a small sketch I did of Cater and Ayu from last year!

Okay, I’m not actually sure where to start because I’m used to talking to myself about these 

delulus but okayyy

I’ll talk about Ayu in a separate post about me rambling a LOT about her but for a bit of context, Ayu was raised by her Aunt all her life and not once has she met her parents, but she knows them, a little weird but her parents and her are kind of like penpals, Ayu only knows their first names but she doesn’t know what they look like, or know how their voice sound like. She simply knows the things that her parents tell her about them. Another thing is that Ayu is not really that social, not in like a “Ugh.. People..” way,  more like she just doesn’t really talk to people unless she needs to-? She didn’t have any friends growing up and she lived in a really quaint place in Queast and was content with it (Her hometown in the Queendom Of Roses) so she doesn’t really have the need to interact too much- She's just not that active socially ^^;

Okay, so- About the ship summary- I decided to not put anything in sexuality because honestly even if I’m queer myself I still get confused with the amount of sexualities there are and I just- My brain is too small for that LOL

A lot of the spectrums are self-explanatory but for some I just really wanna get into it-

For the one about who confesses first or who waits for the confession, I’m just gonna say that I do see that Ayu would confess first but I always thought that she’d be kind of oblivious to her own feelings and when she does realises that she likes Cater, Cater happens to confess immediately after that which doesn’t give her time to prepare to try confessing- Basically it’s like she got hit by a train of realisation- That or Cater confessed and she just went “Oh wait- Hold on- I also feel something-?!”

Okay- Bug squashing.. Now see- Living in Queast- She’s also a bit used to bugs-? Wonderlandiful bugs, but still bugs nonetheless! While Cater does squashes bugs, she can too! It was only her and her Aunt in their cozy little home so there was definitely times where she had to be the one shaking as she looks for the bug to kill it.

Cars- Cars aren’t a common sight in Queast- They rely on carriages and buses and bikes! So, Ayu is clueless about cars which leads to Cater having to be the one to drive them both :D

I see them both cooking together! I always had the headcanon that Cater cooks well since childhood just to avoid eating anymore sweets from his sisters + mother. I see younger him waking up or staying up just to eat something not sweet. Ayu and her aunt loved to cook together so this activity was something she could do too, so they either take turns or cook together!

As for the awkwardness level, I always thought that Cater would have a bit of a hard time with Ayu because I imagined that he would always fill the silence with small talk no matter how dumb the topic may be. Ayu, on the other hand, is very into comfortable silence, which I believe helps Cater wind down and relaxes him as they both cuddle at night and scrolling through Magicam on their own phones, sometimes showing the other a funny video or interesting post once in a while!

Jealousy level, I’d say Ayu is the more jealous one since- She’s never had something like this, she’s never felt this way before- So I reckon she’d be more clingy if someone comes a little bit too close to Cater for her liking.

I think that’s it for now- Hope I didn’t sound too confusing, I typed this all out in one go haha (I'm not a writer either so this may all be not that well-thought out ^^; I am a better artist than a writer)

This is basically how these two's conversation often goes- It all started with a curious little first-year's desire to join the Gargoyle Research Club just so she gets to walk around campus and draw whatever she sees Fast forward months and now she teaches him some slang here and there and "Pog!" was the first one she taught him

I started drawing this a few months ago and I only managed to finish it yesterday! I used Ace's background and edited it, meanwhile the summoning overlays were from Alchemivich! (Ignore the fact that the Japanese text is from Cater, I couldn't find out what the font for the text) Attempting to draw in the Twst Style was so hard but I hope I at least managed to do it!
