I believe your reasoning for doing so was that it would help prevent you from going colorblind! But now that I think about it, paints were never really a good mix for you. Remember when you tried to paint a mural on one of my very nice Doriathian robes? It was the white one with the golden leaves embroidered onto it, and you tried to paint a sunset scene all over it!
