Patawawa releases glittering disco anthem 'Adadadadeya'
Disco-fuelled, indie-tinged Derbyshire trio Patawawa are back with latest single ‘Adadadadeya’, the fourth single from their debut album Power Up, released this September 25.
Fresh off the back of the release of ‘So Late’, ‘Adadadadeya’ will take you back to the golden age of disco music, when Chic and Earth, Wind & Fire were topping the charts. Patawawa are a music time-travelling machine - genre-jumping, but always on the hunt for the brightest melodies. ‘Adadadadeya’ is chaotic and catchy in equal measure, and cements their position as one of the leading nu-disco bands in the UK.
Vocalist Beth Garrett says of the single: “'Adadadadeya' is about ending up somewhere unexpected. That could be at a rave or somewhere at a festival - you know that feeling when you meet complete randomers but you end up in their little gang for the night and have DMC’s, deep meaningful chats. You don’t know where you, or what the hell’s going on, but it’s amazing. Adadadadeya”.
