I know I suck  at drawing humans but the "Tenebrous Overlord" at least deserved an attempt :D

So I've read Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir and I really, really liked it. I fully understand that this is a story that isn't for everyone, that some creative choices or even the entire setting are not for everyone, but if you like dark fantasy in a somewhat science fiction setting, I really recommend that book. And at least as far as the first book goes (the second one is still somewhere in the void between the book store and my mailbox) the science fiction part isn't really all that relevant. While an interstellar empire built around an immortal Emperor figure and his equally immortal disciples for a five-digit number of years isn't exactly anything ground breaking, ignoring all that to focus on a small group of people locked in a relatively small and pretty dangerous place is somewhat refreshing. It almost feels post-apocalyptic at times with a lot of mystery and badass action mixed in. And if you add on top deeply flawed, but strong and very well defined characters, you have a perfect mix for me to enjoy.

I've been unable to draw anything other than lame sketches this week, so... at least have some funny oc content. Reina loves the spooks and wanted to surprise her girlfriend. It's never really a surprise, she does that every year.

Hey hey hey! I’m incredibly excited to announce that me and @woytaq began posting our Fallout: Roads Untraveled story to the world! It’s an original character-driven story that follows two NCR recon team soldiers around the wasteland while they uncover its secrets. 

We’re not amazing writers, this is our first real fiction, but we’re trying our best to convey the characters we love the best we can. You’ve seen the two protagonists here from time to time if you’re a follower, so now you can jump in and learn about their story.  You can read it on AO3, or on our own page dedicated to the fic. Please read the notes/disclaimer as well, it’s not a story for the faint of heart! Nevertheless, we hope you enjoy and I’ll be keeping you posted here of the new chapters.

New chapters will appear every Monday, if we can manage that!

HALLOWEEN DAY! Finally, annual collab with @woytaq

To mix things up a bit, this year is another setting celebrating Halloween from the multiverse our characters inhabit. In the world where witches, vampires and other supernatural (at least according to our standards) creatures exist hidden among humans, unusual friendships may occur. So what happens when a vampire, a mage and a shape-shifter go out trick or treating when actual monsters come out? I don't know, but those bags are pretty full, so I guess their hunt was successful. Usually there's a whole story in the picture and we're more than happy to describe it, but this time we're leaving it up to you to figure it out. And feel free to share your ideas with us, if you feel like it. In those hard times and uncertainty, when we're more then likely stuck at home wondering what kind of disaster the nearest future might bring I hope this can brig you at least a moment of distraction from all the stuff 2020 is throwing at us.

Finally finished, proper references for @woytaq‘s and my characters! I really like how our styles mixed, they look quite different from what either of us would produce on their own. [NSFW version]

Some backstory: All three exist in one world. Reina is a student (probably doing her masters in something medicine-oriented), one of her hobbies is dance and she used to attend classes everyday before university got too overwhelming. Now she's a part time dancer at a night club, incorporating her previous experiences and agility into her routines. After her friend moved out from their flat, Reina started looking for a new roommie and eventually met with Amber, who just got her ass thrown out of a Police Academy in her home city. They've been living together for around a year now.  Quite recently, Amber got a job as security in the same night club, one of the new facilities in town. It's quite promising so far, but it's not her dream profession. She wants to continue her path in police, or ideally, to become a private detective.  Cade is a bartender there. Before this job he used to work at several dive bars which were more trouble than good. He couldn't afford to continue studying and dropped it to be a musician, but it comes about slowly. He has his own channel and fans on the internet, occasionaly plays live.  All three quickly connect. There is some crime-solving future for them that we're planning, but it's still a draft!
