Full Cast Announced for Beetlejuice Broadway Return

Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer, Adam Dannheisser, and Tony nominee Kerry Butler will reprise their roles.

You were dying for them to come back, and the family has returned! Tony award nominee Kerry Butler, David Josefsberg, Obie award winner Adam Dannheisser, Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer, Kelvin Moon Loh, Danny Rutigliano, and Dana Steingold will rejoin Alex Brightman when Beetlejuice returns from the dead at Broadway’s Marquis Theatre April 8.

New to the netherworld are Elizabeth Teeter (The Crucible, The Audience) as Lydia Deetz, Michelle Aravena (A Bronx Tale, Rocky) as Miss Argentina, and Zonya Love (The Color Purple) as Maxine Dean/Juno

Der unverzichtbare große Musicalklassiker ist einmal mehr Fiddler on the Roof, das traditionsreiche Musical mit dem besonders schönen Gottesbild. Damit haben wir das ja alles angefangen. Diesmal in einer schönen neuen, alle ayayai&oyweh-Klischees schön vermeidenden und mit kleinen subversiven Anachronismen ausgestatteten Inszenierung. Tevje und Golde sind auch noch vergleichsweise jung (Golde Lara Pulver war, als sie uns das letzte mal begegnete, noch Gypsy Rose Lee) und irgendwie nicht so Topol-übergroß, was wahrscheinlich realistischer ist und der Fiedler kann diesmal wirklich ganz fabelhaft selber fiedeln.
