Jason Blood and Merlin never got along; Merlin believed that Camelot is nothing without King Arthur, and Blood felt that everyone along with the King played a role to make Camelot prosper. After Camelot fell, Blood is forever haunted by whether his convictions and choices were right or wrong, with no one left to affirm nor refute him asides from Merlin. Even Etrigan leaves Blood alone whenever his thoughts drift there, as he believes he is incapable of inflicting greater torment on his host.
Jason Blood was once invited to teach at a certain famous wizarding school in Britain, but after laying eyes on the portrait of Merlin in the Great Staircase during the tour, he declined on the spot and stormed out before Etrigan could fully persuade him to set the portrait ablaze. While aware the the school would perceive his actions that day as an insult, he'd rather that than have to fall under the gaze of or hear the man who had ruined both his and Etrigan's lives every time he passes by.
Jason blood can and will punch someone in the face without his demonic other half helping if anyone insinuates that neurodivergent children are star seeds/crystal children/indigo children/ or fairies. He grew up with the superstition that he was possessed by a fairy until Merlin saw his obvious adhd and saw to have him knighted. No child will ever feel that alone again,Not as long as he breaths.
