^ this confirms that charlie is actually in this film, so either it will film in oct, or if it doesn't film in oct, it would be that something happened with the film, not that the orig article was wrong and he wasn’t in it.

it kinda seems that way–back in nyc now plus that con in dec makes me think it def isn’t filming in november. and then doesn’t it seem like bet that con and the holidays, it prob wouldn’t be filming in december, either? and then ST begins in Jan, so…

Just thought you'd like to know, I found an interview with AR director Ashley cahill (Google Ashley cahill, Adam Riley) Its a film festival interview from November but he talks about AR as his next project that he hopes to film next year so it def hasn't filmed. Seems like location has also changed to new York, so maybe Charlie dropped out. who knows what's going on with this project.

oooh thanks, anon; i hadn’t seen this. right so confirms it didn’t film, which we pretty much knew, but that’s interesting it’s now going to be shot in new york. it’s good to at least hear the director mention it, but yeah, i wonder if that means charlie’s still in it or not, what with ST shooting till august. perhaps he could do it after, or it didn’t work out:

Sorry if this sounds dumb, but just to make sure, this means the Adam Riley film is probs gonna happen right? Is it just when they are filming (maybe in Oct, maybe not) that we’re not sure about? Anyways, isn’t this kinda great news!? The whole ‘rom com but not a rom com’ thing sounds really intriguing, and I’m quite glad he’s doing more British productions as well.

hey anon, imo it’s great news b/c it confirms he’s def in it. and it’s a lead and, agreed, it sounds cool. that was the film’s latest update and was from july (slightly before that article), so as long as it holds, it should hopefully be happening and film in oct. it’s just b/c of what happened with EM not filming, and b/c apparently this was already pushed back once (it was orig going to film in may), that I’m curious to see if it actually films in oct. agreed on the british productions–EM, if it ever films, and the souvenir are that, and then this one is maybe both? films in london but looks like mainly us prod companies.

I saw some fans claim that Charlie had started filming Adam Riley and named an actress as his co-star. I couldn't find confirmation for either of these. Do you know if its correct?

hey anon, there’s nothing confirmed beyond, as of mid-july, it was supposed to film in oct in london–nothing more so far on if it will actually film. charlie def and i think natalia were sighted in london, but they could stay there a few days and go back to NY for all we know. and re: co-star, gonna guess that could be about something from when he was in LA and an IG follow, but there’s nothing confirmed on her, at least so far. hopefully it will become a little clearer soon if it will film or not.
